“Not until you heal”
When morning came, I was surprised to smell food cooking. I turned to see if “T” was still in bed, but the his side of the bed was empty. Where I was branded was burning and throbbing. I was surprised I had drifted off to sleep at all, because the pain was just searing. Just as I was about to get up, “T” walked in, carrying a breakfast tray, followed by our friends that had spent the night.
“Good morning my darling,” “T” told me, as he put the tray on my lap. I was speechless. Never in all my time with “T” had he done such a thing. I served him, gladly, daily, but he never served me. That just wasn’t how it was between us.
Our friends came and kissed me good morning and then got comfortable in all the comfy seating that we had in our big bedroom.
The day was starting to feel rather surreal. “T” came and sat beside me on the bed and kissed me tenderly and I smiled. A flutter of unease was settling in my stomach. Maybe the branding thing hadn’t been such a good idea.
“Our friends are wondering how you are feeling.” “T” informed me.
I turned to everyone and said, “I’m fine, really.”
Aww’s and so on followed my statement and then “T” said, “We have decided that until you heal you will not be subjected to the daily routine. Instead you are going to be entertained today.”
I opened my mouth to object, but he put his fingers to my lips and I didn’t say what I was going to say.
I was really getting worried now.
I focused on the lovely breakfast “T” had brought me. I loved blintzes and “B” was rather good at making them, so I knew that she had a hand in making them. There was a fruit salad and I thought that maybe “G” had made that. The coffee was lovely and “T” was rather good at making that and “CC” most likely had gone in the yard and picked the red rose that graced my breakfast tray, thorns still in tact. He had a rather thorny touch.
While I ate, the night’s event was discussed and then some of the equipment in the dungeon was also talked about a bit, as our friends had stayed up and played. Our favorite local dungeon in town was also brought up and events that we had missed. New and up and coming fun was also brought up and “T” seemed interested in attending. It had been quite sometime since we had played in a public setting.
“Maybe we should go.” I suggested, in response to one of the events on the calendar geared towards master/slaves.
“Not till you heal.” He told me.
I thought of arguing my point, but it seemed all rather pointless. “T” wasn’t letting me serve and be the way I had been almost the whole time since I had known him and I was getting really rather frightened. Ok, I started thinking, what could I do to make the darn thing heal quickly, so that things could return to normal again?
When I was done, eating, “T” wanted to check out my branded spot and he asked “B” to get the first aid box from the bathroom, which she got for him. He kissed my branded buttock gently and tendely and then placed some ointment on the branded spot and gently placed gauze over it and taped it in place. Then, it was back under the covers and our friends were still sitting all around, and I was feeling rather odd.
“M, we are going to play and you are going to watch and relax where you are.”
I started to get up and he pushed me back down.
“Stay.” He said and looked at me straight in the eye, rather sternly.
“But, this is all too much.” I said.
“Alright…”
