“Penalty or Banishment”

A toast was made, from each of our friends present, honoring our anniversary and then it was “T’s” turn to make a toast. “T” got up with our guests and ushered them towards the den as I cleared away the dinner and returned things to the way they were. When chores were done, I joined them and “T” motioned for me to come to him. I did so and noticed that he had lit the fireplace.

“Certainly,” I replied and left to go and fetch it for him. When I returned I gave him my collar and he placed it on me, as our friends watched from their comfortable seats.
